Leasing agents at buildings on SeeClickRent send customer-care SMS to renters about apartment tours, availability, and applications. Every message is a one-to-one reply from a leasing agent about the apartment that renter asked about. We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages on this program. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Each leasing company that uses SeeClickRent registers its own sender name with the mobile carriers, so its texts name that company and link its own terms and privacy policy. Those are the terms governing the messages you receive from that company. This page describes the program as Command and Query LLC operates it and quotes the disclosures sent under the SeeClickRent name; a participating company's own wording carries its name and links in place of ours.
A leasing agent may only start a new text conversation with you after you have given written or verbal consent through one of the paths in sections 3, 4, or 5. Consent is recorded against your contact record along with where it came from and when.
If you text a building's leasing number first, that building's leasing team may reply to you on that conversation. That is the only thing your inbound text permits — it does not let an agent start a new conversation with you later, and it does not enroll you in anything beyond the reply.
Enter your mobile number and check the unchecked-by-default consent box on our SMS opt-in page, or on a participating building's tour or lead form. This is the call to action; it records your consent and texts you the confirmation in section 6. The consent box carries this language:

Building websites that submit consent to our leads API must display this same language next to their own unchecked-by-default box.
A leasing agent reads the following disclosure aloud, you agree, and the agent records the consent and its date against your contact record:
